We love seeing Laguna Beach Textile Co. pieces out in the wild, enjoying the summer. It gives us all kinds of ideas on how we should be out and about. We spoke with our friend Venna Crownholm, red carpet host, to hear how she spends her summers.

LBTC: What’s your favorite summer holiday: Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day and why?
VC: 4th of July...BBQ, pool time, picnics and fireworks...What's better in life?!?!
LBTC: What are some of your favorite summertime activities?
VC: Spending time outdoors, heading to the lake and BBQing. I love spending time with family and friends—making memories that last a lifetime. We love road tripping and stopping at all the amazing beaches along PCH [Pacific Coast Highway].
LBTC: Do you have any summer travel plans?
VC: We will definitely road trip up PCH from LA to Northern California. It is truly one of the most spectacular drives one can do!
LBTC: What are your summer must haves?
VC: Good Sunscreen, good sunglasses, and a beach bag ready to go in the trunk of the car always!
LBTC: What’s your favorite LBTC product and why?
VC: The Mexican beach blanket in Gray Blush. It's the most versatile blanket. I use it during yoga, at the pool, the beach, and impromptu picnics. It's super cute, versatile, and durable—three of my must-have qualities in an item.
